We’re evolving
I believe, we’re on this planet to evolve. As individuals and in community of living beings on earth.
My work in our food system is dedicated to that vision.
Through food, we are reminded of our role in the system. Through food, we incorporate parts of the living world into becoming part of us. Through agriculture, we leave an imprint of ourselves on land- and waterscapes.
We negotiate climate change, biodiversity, social inequality, geopolitical power and our relationship to “the more than human world” in food. Our agri-food system holds the greatest potential for both degradation and healing.
Which route are we going to choose?
Which capabilities and personal connections are we going to nurture, to continue our evolution towards a healing direction?

my professional roots in the food system
I’m a M.Sc. Human Ecologist, trained by one of the leading schools of this discipline in the world, Lund University in Sweden.
I’ve executed anthropological research living and working with small-holder farmers in the sub-tropic rainforest of Argentina.
My expertise with agriculture and food systems was gathered over the years working at various intersections of our global food economy, in relationship with farmers, food-businesses and NGOs in Latin Amerika, Asia, the United States and Europe.
my technical experience
I've worked with a global organic and fair-trade certifier and farmer association, where I've built and managed sustainability standards and monitoring systems at all-supply-chain levels. Certification is one of the few industries that allow in-debth insight into our global food system, across actors and boarders.
I’ve built market-partnerships between farmers and food businesses and have led a US-EU business development.
my outlook on Entrepreneurship & Business
The only way to master sustainable business models, is not by going to school, but by doing business. That’s why I founded my own consultancy company and joined the leadership team of the Good Food Collective.
In the organic- fair trade movement, I’ve learnt the practicalities of doing business in service to community an environmental wellbeing.
Today, I don’t follow standards or universal guidlines. My focus is on elevating the unique potential of my clients and the networks I belong to, in a radical specific and place-sourced approach.
Generation y. Why is this relevant?
I’ve developed my skills working and studying alongside the first and second generation of environmental activists and organic pioneers, many of whom started their work in the 1970s.
I will forever be greatful to those colleagues, teachers and friends.
Today, my goal is to help co-lead the current transitioning of our sustainable food economy.
Because, it’s time that we outgrow our own niche!
I don’t want to re-invent the wheel.
But, I do believe each generation and everyone has a unique role to play in the historic and cultural trajectory of our globalized food system. Mine, is to help us:
transitioning from niche, to bio-regional connected scale
building bridges between various sustianability narratives and differnt generations of leaders
interpreting sustainability discourse from scientific theory, to practical business tools and strategy that work
remembering that our interconnectednes with all life is where we can source courage, strength, and faith that we’ll figure this out.
